The Park City Foundation grants to local nonprofits through three primary programs. The first is the Community Fund, an annual competitive program. The second is through donor-directed giving. The third is our Small Grants Program. Each has different goals, guidelines, timelines and processes.
COMMUNITY FUND: The Community Fund supports nonprofit organizations that serve the visitors, workforce and citizens of Summit County, UT. We strive to support our community's most pressing needs, effective programs and well-governed organizations. The deadline for 2013 proposals is Friday, April 12 2013. More information is posted below.
DONOR DIRECTED GIVING: The Park City Foundation facilitates giving by holding and managing donors' philanthropic funds. Donor-directed funds are granted at the request of fund advisors with the guidance and approval of The Park City Foundation. CLICK HERE to learn more about our funds under management.
SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM: The goal of the Small Grant Program is to connect organizations and groups of citizens to small amounts of money in a quick turnaround process to help leverage opportunity or abate emergency. CLICK HERE for our Small Grant Program guidelines.
2013 Community Fund
Community Fund grants focus on Summit County. We grant to organizations that meet our community's most pressing needs and contribute to a thriving and vibrant county. We evaluate an organization's governance, fiscal health, program design and outcomes.
This year's proposal deadline is Friday, April 12. Applicants will be notified on April 26 if they've been invited to the second stage. The deadline for the second stage is May 24. Please note, the Community Fund grant program is a two stage process. Please refer to the "Community Fund Guidelines" and "Process and Timeline" to answer any questions.
Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions about the Community Fund or our other nonprofit services.
