The Park City Foundation grants to local nonprofits through three primary programs. The first is the Community Fund, an annual competitive program. The second is through donor-directed giving. The third is our Small Grants Program. Each has different goals, guidelines, timelines and processes.
COMMUNITY FUND: The Community Fund supports nonprofit organizations that serve the visitors, workforce and citizens of Summit County, UT. We strive to support our community's most pressing needs, effective programs and well-governed organizations. New this year, the grant program will take place in the first half, not second half, of the year. The goal is to help organizations balance year-end giving and plan more strategically. This year's first deadline is Friday, March 9th. Please see the timeline below. Note: the Community Fund program is a two-stage process. You must first submit a proposal; select organizations are then invited to submit a full application.
DONOR DIRECTED GIVING: The Park City Foundation facilitates giving by holding and managing donors' philanthropic funds. Donor-directed funds are granted at the request of fund advisors with the guidance and approval of The Park City Foundation. CLICK HERE to learn more about our funds under management.
SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM: The goal of the Small Grant Program is to connect organizations and groups of citizens to small amounts of money in a quick turnaround process to help leverage opportunity or abate emergency. We're revising this program in 2012 - look for updated guidelines soon.
