Park City Mountain Resort Legacy Fund

 

Grant Program Guidelines

The goal of the Park City Mountain Resort Legacy Fund is to support Summit County through grants to nonprofit organizations that provide our community with effective programs in the areas of Environmental Stewardship, Children and Athletics, Education, and/or provide social services and humanitarian aid to help people in need. Grant amounts will be under $5,000 and most likely between $1,000-$3,000.

Eligibility: Applying organizations must be registered 501(c) 3 organizations and serve the audience described above.

Restrictions: Grants will not be awarded for debt reductions or retiring past operating deficits, sponsorships and dinners, fellowships or other grants to individuals, loans, litigation, political or marketing campaigns, graduate and postgraduate research or for projects or organizations that further a political or religious doctrine.

Committee: A committee of Park City Mountain Resort employees and a least one member of The Park City Foundation board or staff make grant decisions. Applications are expected to demonstrate a well-governed organization, strong program design and a pressing need or unique opportunity.

Time line: Grant applications are due to The Park City Foundation no later than Monday April 1, 2013. Grants will be disbursed in May 2013.
